For the environmental sustainability, the program of “The Survey of Soil and Groundwater Contamination in Yunlin county in 2017” has been advanced, which involves groundwater monitoring wells maintenance and groundwater investigation in wet season, to supervise and verify pollution remediation of regulated gas stations, advertisement of gas station regulations, dealing with emergency cases, and administrative assistances. The plan had been executed from January 1st to December 15th 2017, and the results of implementation are summarized as follows: The task of groundwater monitoring wells inspection has been implemented and there were 41 well maintenance works finished each half of year. Totally 19 well assessment, including well inner-photoing and slug tests of groundwater monitoring wells were completed, and 12 refinishing work and 5 inner-well unwanted material removal of monitoring well were implemented according to the well assessment results. Five monitoring wells were sealed as regulated processes. Besides, there were 9 monitoring wells surveys accomplished in Doliu Industrial Area in wet season, and whose results showed the Perchlorethylene concentration of well No. P00482 was higher than the Groundwater Pollution Control Standards. Totally 11 farmland soils were tested. The results showed all heavy metal concentration were under the Soil Pollution Control Standards. With respect to the mission of to supervise and verify pollution remediation of regulated gas stations, 8 gas stations have been tested and examined. No soil gas pollution was found. There were entirely 13 emergency sampling cases implemented during plan period. All test reports were submitted on time and provided the follow-up suggestions. The on-site supervision and checking of contaminated sites was carried on every month. There were 14 registered contaminated sites in Yulin County so far, and 11 sites were under this project’s supervision. The reconfirmation sampling works of pollution improvement of Si-Who gas station, Hu-Wei gas station, and Gi-Li leather company site were fulfilled. The pollution survey of Hu-Wei Chu-wei-tze Lot 509-1 and Lot 511 were implemented. All regulated control tasks, declaration reviews, and administration assistances have been carried and fulfilled as the requirement of the contract.
